This tool converts between weight and mass units: kilograms, grams, milligrams, metric tons, pounds, ounces, stone, and US tons. Enter a value in any unit and all others update instantly.
Weight conversions are needed in everyday contexts such as reading nutritional labels (grams vs ounces), shipping calculations (pounds vs kg), body weight comparisons, and precious metal pricing (troy ounces).
Note that stone is used primarily in the UK and Ireland for body weight: 1 stone = 14 pounds. The tool makes imperial and metric results visible side by side for easy comparison.
